Jesse Morgan Obituary

was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 18, 1957. He was the beloved son of Muriel (Matthias) Morgan Harris and the late Donald Jacob Morgan.

Jesse was a lifetime resident of Baltimore City and community of Hampden! As a young man he loved going fishing with his Grandfather Jesse Morgan, uncles and cousins. He was an avid reader of books. Anyone who knew Jesse, knew how he loved to read. He was also a Hampden historian, he had a uncanny memory for names, places and changes in the neighborhood.

He graduated from Polytechnic High School in 1975. After graduating he was a driver for the Maryland Highway Administration. At the age of 35, Jesse served the City of Baltimore as a fireman at Fire Station No. 6, Engine 21-Truck 25.

He received a commendation for his heroism for the actions he took during a high-rise fire in Baltimore City.

Jesse treasured family and cherished spending time with his eight grandchildren. For relaxation and enjoyment, he loved to play Keno and visit Atlantic City with his buddies. One of his favorite past times was getting together with family and friends for cookouts and Family reunions. His children have fond memories of riding with their dad on his motorcycle.

Jesse is survived by loving sisters Amy Anne Morgan, Dorothy Jean (Morgan) Reuben and brother-in-laws David Reuben and Michael A Connolly Sr. He is preceded in death by his beloved sister Donna Rosa (Morgan) Connolly.

Jesse was the loving father of Amy Ann Morgan, Jessica Michelle Hager, Kasey Rose Morgan and Jennifer Lynn Morgan. Special Mentions to Joanne Morgan Forman, the mother of Kasey, Jessica and Jennifer.

Also, special mention to best friends Michael J. Morgan, Kenny Heavel, Joe Ford, Donna Cooper, and the late Charles Cooke, and special brother-in-law Michael Connolly, Sr.

He leaves behind many loving aunts, an uncle and many cousins and friends.

A private service was held at Parkview Funeral Home at 7527 Harford Road, Baltimore MD 21234.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 18, 2022, from 2-6PM at Frasier's on the Avenue (917 W. 36th St, Baltimore, MD 21211.)

I will always remember the good times me Jesse & Charlie Cooke spent in Atlantic City. Jesse and I just returned from a long weekend just days before he passed. He was a special friend and I will surely miss the times we spent almost every weekend for the last several years. Rest In Peace my friend, I will be lost without you !
