Corrine and the boys,
It was with the greatest sadness that we heard of Jack's death this evening. We are sitting here on Somerset Road in the very house in which his parents were married. We have always thought of this as "Mrs. Larkin's House". So many fond memories of Kevin and Casey playing lacrosse. So many special memories of John. When John was ill, he would walk across from Academy Heights and stroll Somerset Road. He would stop and we would chat for awhile. What a brave and special young man he was. Your family has great love and from that love you have drawn great strength. You are in the hearts and prayers of many people. Your family has touched many in a special way.
Garth will be very sad to learn of Mr. Larkin's passing.
Our Love to each of you,
Mr. & Mrs. A.

To the Larkin family,

A good friend sent me an email with this sad news. I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Larkin's passing. I have so many fond memories of him while growing up at Foxhall Farm. Whenever I think of Mr. Larkin and the whole Larkin family, it brings a smile to my face because you are all such great folks. I am glad to have been your neighbor. I am so sorry I will not be there for the memorial service but, my prayers are with you all in this sad time. Not all is sad though as Mr. Larkin is now reunited with John and other loved ones in heaven. He is with some of his old friends such as my Dad who thought the world of him. I would be willing to bet they are having a cocktail; looking down upon us and wondering what all the fuss is about! Please accept my condolences. David Hope
