Jonathan Eapen Obituary

Our youngest brother, Jonathan Tristen Eapen, passed away on Sunday September 04, 2022 early in the morning. He was 21 years old.

Tristen was one of our best friends.

Many people say: "I don't know what I want to do with my life."

Tristen was not one of those people.

He loved working on cars, so he became a mechanic. He loved Camaros, so he bought two of them. He liked knives and guns, so he collected many of them. He loved video games, so he played them constantly.

He was a rare person who knew exactly what he wanted out of life.

He was born at GBMC in Baltimore to our parents Justus Eapen Sr. and Tracey Kelley. He attended church with us at Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church, and he graduated from Patterson Mill High School in 2019.

In addition to our parents, Tristen is survived by four brothers: Matthew (Danielle) Cody Berry, Aaron (Amanda) Cole Berry, Justus Daniel Eapen Jr., and Lynden Brae Eapen. He is also survived by our grandmothers, Fae Williams and Anna Eapen, and our aunts, Susan Gotschall-Garcia, Jemi Pinder, and Justly Varghese.

Tristen is now resting in glory with our grandfather, Daniel Peranickal Eapen and our uncle, John Joseph Kelley.

Visitation will be at The Old Brick Primitive Baptist Church, Forest Hill, MD on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 10-11 am with a service to follow at 11 am. Interment will be in the Old Brick Cemetery.

Condolences may be left on the guestbook at mccomasfuneralhome.com.

Justus, Tracey, Cody, Cole, Danny, and Brae, You were our first friends in Bel Air! Kindergarten at HWES brought Tristen and Garrett together as classmates and time kept them going as best friends. (Tristen & Garrett logged more hours than I like to admit in front of the video games!) I was always drawn to Tristen´s sweet temperament, his precious smile, and his fabulous long hair :) Our lives eventually went in different directions. Yet, still we think of you often as we pass by your farm or reminisce over old photos. A few years back I ran into Tristen at Ross where he was working. How great he said hello to me because I wouldn´t have recognized him! Looking back now, that chance encounter was quite a gift.. May God´s love, favor, and peace which passes all understanding be with you all

I didn´t know Johnathan well, but he was one of the few classmates I had starting in kindergarten all the way up to graduation. He was always kind to me, and I remember him speaking highly of his family when we were young. I´m sending love and healing to your family.
