On September 26, 2014 Laurie Schneider (nee Bowers). Devoted wife of Alfonzo McFadden. Beloved mother of Ricky Schneider, Athena McFadden, Alisa Jones, and Teresa McFadden. Also survived by 10 Grandchildren. Dear sister of David and Larry Bowers. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the Connelly Funeral Home of Essex, 300 Mace ave. on Saturday 3-5,7-9pm. Where services will be held that evening at 7:30pm. Interment private.

Dear Laurie,
I miss you. :(
One of the best co-workers in the world and caring friend when my mother died.
I enjoyed our lunch talks immensely! Do you remember when you made me laugh when you said that you had a brother-in-law named June BUG? I could not believe it.
I just spoke with Alisa and she told me that you passed away. Figures, that I have bad timing.
I kept trying to call you on your cell phone. You should have called me and I would have been there rooting you on to be here until you turned 100 years.
