Lisa Dawn Greer

Lisa Dawn Greer, age 58, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on August 29, 2023 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, she was the daughter of Otis and Mary (Hawks) Steltz and cherished wife of SGM John Greer, USA, (Ret.). Lisa loved to take motorcycle trips with John and adored being "Grammy". She filled her down time with coloring and owned enough coloring books and colored pencils to fill an entire bookshelf. Lisa had a beautiful garden she completed with her favorite fairies and gnomes. Her family will deeply miss the fiery, spirited, and caring person she was. Lisa loved her family so much. She showed everyone the same love and saw them all as equals. She and John shared a wonderful adventure together, meeting by chance and growing closer together ever since. He wants to thank her for the beautiful adventure they shared.

In addition to her husband and father, Lisa is survived by her daughter, Kim Baldwin (Justin Stein); two sons, MSG Mark (Jennifer) Ashford, II, and Wesley (Amy) Greer; sister, Debora (Dave) Pacitti; nine grandchildren, Trent Baldwin, Jay Baldwin, Elaina Stein, Jacquelin Chambers, Mark Ashford, III, Braiden Chambers, Payton Ashford, Victoria Ashford, and MacKenzie Ashford; niece, Jessica (Ben) Mundy; and nephew, Thomas Pacitti. She is also survived by many more beloved nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Easter Steltz.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Family Funeral Home, Abingdon, Maryland on Friday, September 1, 2023, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm & Saturday, September 2, 2023, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
