Dear Mrs. Carstens, I am truly sorry about the loss of Michael. I know you loved him so very much. I will miss him coming to Liberty to feed all of us staff with his amazing meals. He was a talented chef and I could see your pride every time he came to our school. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Anita, Dave, and Donald. I don't know if you remember me (in the 1980's I lived next door to you on Hargrove Alley). I read of the tragic loss of your beloved son Mike. ...I am so sorry for your tragic loss ...what a hole is left in your hearts. May you heal with time and cherished memories. If you need a ear, I am here for you.
Love and peace to you and your family,

We send our most heartfelt condolences to the family. Michael was part of the team at Sheraton Baltimore City Center and his passion for his craft and gift were often showcased. His smile and his genuine approach will truly be missed.

You have my deepest sympathy on the immeasurable loss you have suffered, but take courage, it is only momentary. The greatest parent in the universe promises at Hosea 13:14 that he will recover our loved ones from death and he will redeem them from the grave. What a wonderful blessing awaits you in the near future when pain, sickness, and death will never harm your family again.
