Michael Carstens Obituary
On June 16, 2015, Michael Benjamin Carstens age 30, of Baltimore, Maryland. Mikey is the son of David and Anita Carstens, brother of Jennifer Bimberg (Jason) and Steven Carstens, nephew of Marilyn and Sam Redick, and Donald Carstens, doting uncle of Audrey Bimberg, and cousin of Sarah and Brian Redick. He is also survived by his Fiancé Sarah Feldman and best friend Adam Glasser. Mikey was the Executive Chef for several Baltimore fine dining establishments, and appeared on Fox 45 and WJZ morning shows as a guest chef. A memorial service will be held August 16, 2015 at 2:00pm at the Jemicy School, 11 Celadon Road Owings Mills, Maryland 21117. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Baltimore Humane Society 1601 Nicodemus Road, Reisterstown Maryland 21136

Dear Mrs. Carstens, I am truly sorry about the loss of Michael. I know you loved him so very much. I will miss him coming to Liberty to feed all of us staff with his amazing meals. He was a talented chef and I could see your pride every time he came to our school. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

You have my deepest sympathy on the immeasurable loss you have suffered, but take courage, it is only momentary.
