Robert Brown

1962 - 2018

On October 26, 2018, Robert (Bob) Owen Brown (55), beloved husband of Donna Cody Brown, passed away following a short but difficult battle with cancer. He fought a good fight with a strong spirit and wit that he was so loved for by his family and friends. Bob was a long-term resident of Aberdeen, MD and worked as a production worker at Solvay for 32 years up until his illness. He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his wife and was especially happy on summer days sharing steamed crabs and cold beer with his family and friends. Bob was survived by his wife of 15 years; daughter, Brandy Brown Davis, stepson, Billy Cody; three grandchildren, Coleman McChristian, Addison Cody, and William Cody; mother, Sandra Mroczkowski Brown, sister Kelly Vander Ley, two nieces, Regina and Teresa Vander Ley; and sister-in-law Lisa Tibbs with partner Doug Hughes and their children Molly and Douglas Hughes. Although our earthly chain has been broken Bob has rejoined his link to his son, Matthew Scott Brown and father, Robert Owen Brown, Sr., in our hearts a memory of his love will be forever kept. Visitation will be held at Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, 333 S. Parke, St., Aberdeen, MD 21001 on Thursday November 1 from 1-3 pm and 6-8:00 pm. A private graveside service will be held at Harford Memorial Gardens as Bob is laid to rest.
