Robert Kelly Obituary

July 1, 1954 - August 14, 2025

Robert (Bob) Granville Kelly, 71, passed away on August 14, 2025, at his home in Bel Air, Maryland.

Bob was born in Baltimore, Maryland on July 1, 1954 and grew up in Lutherville, Maryland. Bob graduated from Towson State University with a love for music, before pursuing a career as a Registered Piano Technician, servicing pianos throughout Harford County.

Bob's life was profoundly shaped by his faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ on his behalf. Second only to his love for God, Bob's beloved wife, Peggy, and his family were enduring priorities throughout his life. Bob was a member of Grace Community Church and was dearly loved by many, with a sense of humor appreciated by some.

Bob is survived by his wife, Peggy, and their children; Becky (Mike), Rob, Jeff (Jamie), Allison, David, and Margy; ten grandchildren (Matthew, Anna, Sarah, Lydia, and Samantha; Isaac, Aaron, and Noah; Churchill and Dean); his brother, Michael (Nancy) and sister, Nancy; several nieces and nephews, and many dear friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Keith and Alice Kelly; and his brother, Lawrence.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23, at 1:00 p.m. at Grace Community Church, 11611 Belair Rd, Kingsville, MD. A light reception will follow the service. All are welcome to join the family in remembering and celebrating Bob's life.
