Chloetta Abramovitz Obituary

Mrs. Chloetta "Froggie" Abramovitz, 91, passed away Friday, Oct. 21, 2022, in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

She was born on July 8, 1931, in Elizabeth, Arkansas, as the second born child to Floyd and Stella Deatherage.

Chloetta was a godly Christian lady who loved the Lord with all her heart, mind and soul. If the church doors were open, she was there. She had an unconditional love for any one she met, no matter the circumstance. She especially enjoyed spending time with children and would stop to talk to them at church. Chloetta had a love for playing dominoes, going for rides in the car and taking a nice walk. She also enjoyed taking care of her flowers and watching her birds.

She was a proud Arkansas native and even called herself an "Arkie." She was so excited to see the local deer and loved living in the hills of the Ozarks.

Chloetta is survived by two daughters, Teresa (Tony) Rasmussen and Paula (Brett) Cooper; grandchildren Travis (Laura) Rasmussen, Andrew (Alisha) Rasmussen, Brandon Cooper, Daniel Cooper, Nathan (Tiffany) Rasmussen, and Rachel (Cody) Sutterfield; 19 great-grandchildren; brother Howard (Carol) Deatherage; brother-in-law David Larson and a host of very loved nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Michael J. Abramovitz; her parents; grandson Timothy Cooper; brothers Paul Deatherage and Junior Deatherage and sisters Louise Bryant and Billie Ruth Larson.

We would like to send a special thank you to Home Instead Office caregivers Luann, Janelle, Sandy, Jewell, Kattie and office staff. We would also like to thank the compassionate team of caregivers at the Hospice House in Mountain Home, Arkansas.
