Dustin Jones Obituary

Dustin Andrew Jones

Fayetteville - Dustin Andrew Jones, 32, died Saturday, April 7, 2018. He was born January 19, 1986 in Mountain Home to Jerry and Marjie Jones where he grew up graduating high school in 2004. He was a member of Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Dustin graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2010 and was a talented guitar player, singer, song writer, and a member of the duo, Up With Trees. He enjoyed learning new skills including coffee roasting, latte art and organic gardening. Dustin loved travel, fly fishing and hiking in the mountains. He loved the mountains and the ocean. He was very open to other cultures and countries. He loved cooking from scratch and trying new recipes. He made amazing bread, hard apple cider, mead, and was learning how to ferment food. He loved to make pancakes for his wife on Saturday mornings. He was about to build bee hives, and install a bat house in the yard. He enjoyed taking care of the house and the yard. He also liked to spend romantic evenings with his wife and enjoy a little glass of wine with her or make her amazing lattes, mochas or cappuccinos. He loved God deeply. He was kind hearted, sweet, caring, extremely sensitive and compassionate. He liked to serve his wife and his goal was to make her happy. He was a dreamer and his wife and he shared lots of dreams of traveling or moving to the mountains one day, or going into ministry or starting a business together so they could spend their days together as he always missed his son and wife while he was at work. He loved nature and people.

He is survived by the loves of his life, wife, Aimee, and son, Samuel; his parents, Jerry and Marjie Jones of Mountain Home; a sister, Emily Griffin and husband Dylan of Searcy, and their children, Brayden and Emma, and his father-in-law Charles Parisot and many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear dear friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, April 14, at Northpoint Apostolic Church, 533 E Appleby Road in Fayetteville. Memorial contributions may be for the benefit of his family to the Dustin Jones Memorial Fund, c/o First Community Bank, 310 Hwy 62 E, Mountain Home, AR 72653.
