Jessie Napier Obituary
A Funeral Service for Jessie Marie Napier of Old Joe, Arkansas, will be 10:00 am, Saturday, August 24, 2013, at the Pleasant Valley Community Church, with Reverend Monte Neal officiating. Visitation will be Friday, August 23, 2013 5:00 - 8:00 pm, at Kirby & Family Funeral Home Chapel.
Jessie passed away August 19, 2013, in Mountain Home, Arkansas at the age of 75. She was born March 18, 1938, in Old Joe, Arkansas, the daughter of Otto and Virginia Warner Teegarden. She married Ashford Napier on November 5, 1956, at Norfork, Arkansas and was a homemaker. Jessie was a lifetime resident of the Old Joe area. She was a member of the Pleasant Valley Community Church and enjoyed quilt making.
Jessie is survived by her husband, Ashford Napier of Calico Rock, AR; son, William (Bonnie) Napier of Old Joe, AR; daughter, Virginia Gail (Steven) Rohrer of Oxford, AR; daughter, Janet (Chris) Ludvigsen of Flippin, AR; son, Edwin (Sheila) Napier of Old Joe, AR; sister, Lena Pearl Parnell of Salesville, AR; sister, Gay Loosey of Old Joe, AR; brother, Noel Teegarden "Shorty" of Jordon, AR; sister, Rosie Stapleton of Calico Rock, AR; six grandchildren, Lee (Jennifer) Golmon of Old Joe, Kary (Chase) Goettler of Mountain Home, AR, Heath Napier of Old Joe, AR, Jessie (Pattie) Ludvigsen of Mountain Home, AR, Joelle (Austin) Jackson of Pine Bluff, AR and Ethan Napier of Old Joe, AR and six great-grandchildren, Cisily Goettler, Kylan Golmon, Trevor Reeves, Jared Lee Napier, Sam Goettler and Edwin Golmon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Velma Lee Pruitt, Sally Foster and Shirley Moore; two brothers, Dwight Teegarden and Edwin Teegarden and grandson, Jared Edwin Napier.
Burial will be in the Galatia Cemetery, Norfork, Arkansas with Allen Moore, Larry Stapleton, Ricky Foster, Ernest Teegarden, Jeffery Teegarden and James Loosey as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Chris Teegarden, Stacy May, Mark McGowan and Eddie Teegarden.
