Kirk Engert Obituary

Kirk V. Engert died unexpectedly Thursday, June 9, 2022.

He was born in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1946. He was 75 years old. Kirk was the son of Dooley and Rhea Engert. Kirk graduated from Pascal High School, and served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Da Nang, Vietnam.

He was married to Gina Engert. They took over the family business, Rhea-Engert Photography and ran it for 32 years. Upon retirement, they moved from Fort Worth to Mountain Home, Arkansas, where they lived in a home overlooking Bull Shoals Lake. July 3rd would have been their 47th anniversary.

Kirk is survived by his wife, Gina; his stepchildren, Renee Weist of Corpus Christi, Texas and Guy Clark of St. Louis, Missouri; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and five nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, June 18, 2022, at the Promise Land Community Center.

In lieu of donations to the family, please consider donating to the American Stroke Association or a no-kill animal shelter in your area.
