Theresa Hobbs Obituary
She was born Feb. 5, 1970, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of Simon "Lee" and Bobbye Dromer Dabney. Theresa was an online teacher with the Arkansas Academy. She was a member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church. She enjoyed raising goats, traveling and especially loved playing with her granddaughter.
Theresa is survived by her father, Lee Dabney, of Oakland, Arkansas; son Tristen Hobbs of Oakland, Arkansas and granddaughter, Fallon.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Bobbye Dabney; brother Simon Lee Dabney, Jr. and stepmother, Linda Dabney.
A funeral service for Theresa will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 20, 2022, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, with the Rev. David Gadbaw officiating. Burial will be at Baxter Memorial Gardens, Mountain Home, Arkansas.
Memorials may be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Theresa will always hold a special place in our hearts. She loved the Lord and was eager to shine her light for Him every day whether it be at church, teaching online, or being with her beloved family. I was saddened to hear about Ms. Hobbs´ passing. My daughter enjoyed her as a teacher this year at ARVA. She seemed so dedicated to her students, making it fun and enjoyable says my daughter, Ruby. So very sorry for all who are suffering. Our thoughts and prayers are for your family and friends.

Please accept my condolences to all of Theresa's family. I thought she was a very kind friend. I enjoyed having her son in school during his 4th grade year.
