Jeff Gabbert Obituary

Floyd Jefferson (Jeff) Gabbert, born in Houston, Texas Nov 04,1941 to F.A. (Gabby) Gabbert and Lera Lambert Gabbert, passed from this life on October 25, 2022. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Sandy Gabbert, son Scott Gabbert and wife Tammie, daughter Kelly Gorrell and husband Robert, 3 grandsons Jarrod Gorrell, Tyler Gabbert, and Michael Gabbert, 3 granddaughters Danielle Sullivan, Kristin Lumen, and Chelsea Moore. Jeff retired from the City of Pasadena as the Chief Building Official, and moved to Palestine in 2002 and in recent years had returned to the Pasadena area. He was the owner of L&M Thermal Air Conditioning Co. for many years and was previously employed with Honeywell Inc. He was a 50 year lifetime member of Pipefitters Local Union 211, 50 year member of Archives Lodge #1399 in Pasadena, Masonic Lodge 31 in Palestine, member of Houston Scottish Rite, BPOE 1832 Elks Lodge, and the Clear Lake (Kemah) Elks #2322. There will be a family graveside service in Palestine.
