Shirley Mae (Laflin) Higgins, 82, of Tecumseh, Neb., passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2025.

Survivors are sons: Arnie Higgins of Lincoln, Lonnie Higgins of Crab Orchard; and daughter, Theresa Weber of Tecumseh; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Helen McKenzie of Avoca, Jim Laflin (Judy) of Rockport, Mo., Diane Richardson (Jim) of Adams and Jeannie Rogman (Wayne) of Lincoln and Deb Belding (Mike) of Beatrice; sister-in-law, Marjorie Laflin of Crab Orchard; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Paul; long-time partner, John Lambert; brothers: Hugh and Harvey Laflin; and sister, Linda Kay.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, February 28, 2025, at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Neb.

Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., with family greeting friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, February 27, 2025, at the Wherry Mortuary, Tecumseh, Neb.

Memorials may go to the family's choice.

Inurnment will be in the Crab Orchard Cemetery, Crab Orchard, Neb. www.wherrymortuary.com.
