Andrew "Tim" LaVergne

Andrew Tim LaVergne, 70, of Raywood, TX passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2011, at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital in Baytown, TX. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 2, 2011, at 11:00 a.m., at Greater Golden Light Baptist Church, 2403 Basile, Eunice Highway, in Basile, LA., with interment at Cezar Cemetery in Duralde, LA. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the church. A wake will be held on Friday, July 1, 2011, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Calvary Mortuary Chapel under the direction of Calvary Mortuary Staff. Andrew's love and memories will remain in the hearts of his loving wife of 28 years, Myra LaVergne; step- mother, Mary Ardoin; sons, Kevin Ceaser (Nikki), Dr. Douglas LaVergne (Keishia), and William LaVergne; daughters, Detra Ceaser, Tabbatha LaVergne, and Andrea LaVergne; sisters, Louise Rougeau (John), Earline Hampton (Ertis), Charlene Moreau (Melvin), and McCleadia Gradney; brothers, Louis LaVergne, Albert LaVergne, and Anthony LaVergne (Georgia); god- daughter, Helen Perry; god- son, Frederick Pugh; 12 grand children; and a host of other relatives and friends.
