He was a graduate of French High School and Lamar University, and also a United States Army veteran. He was a man of great integrity, eternal kindness and compassion, generosity, and humor. Connie was abundantly cherished and deeply treasured by his family and those who knew him. He will be so dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his father, C. Gus Edds, and his mother, Patra Self Edds. In memory of Connie, donations may be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research. Teddy and family,

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of Connie. You just lost your mother and now your husband.
For the years I knew him at the office of Dr. Jepson he was always the nicest, cordial gentleman with a sweet disposition and was a joy to know him.
