Doris King Obituary
Doris graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in Port Arthur and went on to Baylor University receiving her BA in education and then went on to receive her Masters in Special Education from Lamar University. She was a Special Education Teacher for Deaf Students.
Doris was a devoted member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaumont.
Preceding Doris in death were her husband, Honorable Jack King, and her daughter, Donna Kay King.
Survivors include: son, Brent Russell King, M.D. M.M.M. & his wife Rosemary Kozar, M.D. Ph.D. of Baltimore; grandchildren, Michaela Kozar-King of New Orleans, Seth Shimon of Austin and Sean Kozar-King J.D. of Houston.
The family will receive friends in a reception before the service starting at 9:00 AM.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Trinity United Methodist Church in Beaumont on June 27th, 2022 at 10 AM with Pastor Tommy Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.

Doris King was the quintessence of class and had a heart filled with love and care for everyone. I have been blessed to have her in my life and I will miss her dearly. She was a Godly woman and I will always remember the day she called to say she was praying for me and my family regularly. She was a second mom to our son and he and I will forever appreciate, miss, and remember her. She has touched our lives and hearts and she is now with the loved ones that she missed dearly. I miss you Doris my dear friend and I will love you forever, Nancy
