Cricket and Poggie,
My dad, Tommy Bourgeois told me just now that your mom passed. I am sorry that you no longer have her daily in your lives but I wanted you to know that I have very fond memories of your family growing up. My mom, Bettye Bourgeois, and your mom were good friends way back when we lived in the same neighborhood in Bridge City. Your mom was always so nice to us and I remember as a child how she spoke to me like an adult. That has shaped how I interact with children and teenagers --

Merry leaves me with so many good memories. We shared the love of nature and many birding trips in our younger days. Merry would drive ANYWHERE, with Martha as our birding expert, and I the note keeper. Merry is now just one trip ahead of me. Blessings & hugs to you Bill, Cricket & Poggie.
