My condolences to the Collins family in the homegoing of my dear friend and colleague Mr. "Gene" Collins. We worked together at Mobil, and when you would see him, you could expect something positive to put a smile on your face. It was a pleasure just to be around him. He was an awesome person to know and I know that his family will miss him dearly, he has served all well here on earth and now he has taken his peaceful rest with the Lord and savior Jesus Christ. I am so sorry for your loss. I feel like it is my loss, also. Gene was a Gentleman, calm, smiling, always a pleasant hello to the people he met. Douglas Memorial CME Church will certainly miss him. He meant so much to us. Collins family, I have travelled this route, it is not easy, but, with GOD as your source, you will surely come to realize that GOD knows best. He will be with you daily, guiding you to the calmness that you are seeking. Release your loved one. He fought a good fight.
