Wilma Powell Obituary

Wilma Lu Lu Powell 1940 - 2015 Wilma Lu Lu Powell, 75, of Beaumont, Texas passed away at her home on Thursday, November 5, 2015. Lu Lu leaves precious memories to her daughters, Yvonne Powell-Cooper, Shawna Powell-Gaines (Michael), Donna Powell-Prudhomme (Michael) and Nasheka Powell; brother, Lester Joseph; sisters, Dorothy Turner, Ella Mae Joseph, Ida Mae Joseph and Brenda Joseph Morris; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; a host of loving relatives and friends. Lu Lu was preceded in death by her husband, Donaldson Leo Powell. Celebration of Life services will be on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church as follows: Visitation 8:30 a.m. until the Rosary at 10:15 p.m. The funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. with burial at Live Oak Memorial Park.
