Devin Wise Obituary
Devin Q. Wise, 22, of Swansea, Ill., born Sept. 18, 1983, in Hamiton, Ohio, died Monday, Jan. 23, 2006, at St. Elizabeth's Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mr. Wise was a security guard at R.S.I.G Incorporated.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Caralana Wise; and his paternal grandmother, Lenice Wise.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Connie J., (Christopher) nee Tripp, Legereit; his father and step-mother, William F. (Donna) Wise; four brothers, Christopher (Lindsay) Tripp, Roscoe (Demarko Smith) Wise, Scott Wise, and Brandon Wise; a sister, Miranda Wise; his paternal grandfather, Roscoe L. Wise; and his maternal grandparents, Kenneth and Verline Tripp.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
Visitation: Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, 2006, at Pete Gaerdner Funeral Home, Belleville, Ill., with the Rev. George Tripp officiating. Interment will be in Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, Ill.

Devin was so full of life from the time he was born to the time he dried. Being born in Ohio at the farm and would wait until I got home from work at early times in the morning to want someone to change him and feed him.
Had fun with him when I saw him. He was in and out of my live so much that I didn't have the time to get to know him like I wanted to, but for the times we had together they where full of good times. He was a special little man I will always remember.

My heart is with both families as they search for why. May god help you understand why? Devin was a sweet baby when he come in to my life in a farm house in Ohio. He was just to cute for words. He was my little buddy. He had blonde hair and would run, laught around. God must of had a special service for him to call him home. May you find the peace both family need. Love Bill and Charma

Devin was a wonderful friend to me as I've known him for 7-8 years, as well as I was friends with, Rosco (who was the one who introduced me to Devin). I am so blessed to have known Devin, and I am glad to see that he now knows peace and health in Heaven. To Devin's family you have my condolences, and Rosco you may call me at anytime. I can only hope to be as great of a friend to you as Devin has been to me through the years. God bless.
