Belleville, Illinois - Fred J. Rensing, 91, Belleville, IL, born June 25, 1933, in Belleville, IL, died Friday, August 16, 2024, at Keystone Place at Richland Creek, O'Fallon, IL.

Fred worked for 35 years as an engineer for McDonnell Douglas before his retirement. He later founded and ran FJR Consulting, Inc., for over ten years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Rensing; his son, Fred W. Rensing; his parents, Fred C. and Laura A., nee Hoff, Rensing; and his brother, William Rensing.

Surviving are his two daughters, Ann M. (Joey) Caravia and Lisa M. (Tom) Hubert; his daughter-in-law, Babette Rensing; three grandchildren, Gabe M. (Bernadette) Rensing, Nicole (Ricky) Driver, and Thomas (Marlana) Hubert; four great-grandchildren, Finn Rensing, McKinley and Emma Driver, and Thomas Hubert V; his sister, Catherine Jameson; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Belleville Area Humane Society. Condolences may be expressed to the family online at www.rennerfh.com.

Visitation: A private visitation will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL.

Funeral: A private memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, August 23, 2024, at George Renner & Sons Funeral Home, Belleville, IL, with Fr. Godfrey Mullen officiating.

Private burial will be at Valhalla Gardens of Memory, Belleville, IL.
