Paul Fuchs
Paul Joseph Fuchs, 69, of Alton, Ill., born Dec. 30, 1937, in St. Louis, Mo., died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo.
Paul was owner/operator of The LaBarge-Harkness & Co. in Alton, Ill.
On March 3, 1962, he and Bernadine Newnom were married in Alton, Ill., and they had five beautiful daughters. Bernadine preceded him in death on Dec. 20, 1987. He then married Susan Kienstra on June 16, 1990, in St. Louis, Mo. She survives in Alton, Ill.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Bernadine; his parents, Raymond F. and Odille Fuchs; and a brother, Raymond.
Surviving are his second wife, Susan; his five daughters, Anne (Gene) Hoylman of Smithton, Ill., Jeanne (Sikiru) Olubogun of St. Louis, Mo., Gabrielle (Rusty) Overturf of Springfield, Ill., Cathy (Val) Periandri of Troy, Ill., and Genevieve (Todd) Missel of Chatham, Ill.; 11 grandchildren, Collin, Taylor, Garrett (Andrea) and Ryan Hoylman, Mary and Paul Olubogun, Abby, Sam and Ike Overturf, Erica and Megan Periandri and Hannah and Kathryn Missel; a sister Carol Haberkem of St. Louis, Mo; and a brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Carol of Arnold, Mo.
Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or St. Vincent DePaul Society at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church. Online information and guest book may be found at www.gentfuneralhome.com

Visitation: Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 8, 2007, at Gent Funeral Home, 2409 State St. Alton, Ill.

Funeral: Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 9, 2007, at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Alton, Ill., with Rev. Roger Schoenhofen as celebrant. Burial will follow at Valhalla Memorial Park, Godfrey, Ill.
