Deming, Washington - Frederick "Fred" Buckenmeyer, age 92, of Deming passed away in Lynden Monday, Jan. 27, 2025. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held 11:00 AM, Saturday, Feb. 8, 2025 at St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, 9330 Heady Rd., Sumas, WA 98295, with a reception following at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 6210 Mt. Fred will be missed at Bourbons. He was the only one I could talk to that knew the old loggers in Whatcom County. A great gentleman that enjoyed a good joke. May He Rest In Peace
