Jeffery N. Cossett

Jeff passed away on Jan. 22, 2016 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Bellingham, Wa from complications of a rare autoimmune disease he had fought since childhood. He was born in Metaline Falls, WA on Dec. 12, 1964 and lived there until he moved with his family to Blaine, WA. He graduated from Blaine High School. He attended Washington State University and Claremont College in San Diego, CA. He worked at Amex in Blaine and Current Industries prior to working at Chinook Industries in Bellingham. He was a very literate person who delighted in engaging in debate and communication with his many friends and large extended family. We will all miss sharing his knowledge and insights. We will even miss being the brunt of his "zingers". He is survived by his mother Jill {Ernest} Parker, Blaine, WA and his father, Dennis{Diana} Cossett, Newport, WA as well as a large "blended" family of 5 sisters, 6 brothers and 20 nieces and nephews and 7 great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother and a niece and 2 nephews. Memorial services will be held at Jerns Funeral Chapel in Bellingham, WA on Feb. 5, 2016 at 11 AM. The family requests no flowers. Donation suggestions are SIDS research, Arthritis Foundation, or Literacy Council. An additional service will be held in Metaline Falls, WA at a later date.
