I worked as a summer intern under Ed's direction in 1974 and have many fond memories of that summer in the accounting office. The rest of the office included Bob Rousseau, Miles O'Grady, Helen Kawa and Helen Donovan. Ed talked about his golf rounds, including the number of balls he found (which appeared to be as important as his score!) That was a nice summer.

My sympathies to the family.

Sincerely,

Dear Ed, Ann, Donna, John, Jim, and Marybeth. My heart is with you all, at this time. When your Dad said goodbye to your Mom, he asked her to pick out a good spot for the two of them in Heaven. Now he is there. We had wonderful times with your Mom and Dad, and will meet them again, one day.

My childhood was comforted after the loss of my mother, knowing Aunt Mary and Uncle Ed were up in Vermont, warmly welcoming my father , my brother and I Thanksgiving some years. How blessed we were to see them often in the later years. Their generosity of giving of themselves to us, even urging our children to call them " Grandma and Grandpa" will be in their hearts all of their lives. Like my father always said " They dont make people like them anymore". My mother and father, your mom and dad, together again in Heaven. God Bless you all.
