Stanley Rosen Obituary

Stanley Rosen 1926-2025, ceramic sculptor and teacher passed away peacefully on August 19, 2025. He was deeply loved by family, students, friends, fellow teachers, and artists. He had a good run.

In lieu of flowers, if inclined, donations may be made to the Bennington Museum, 75 Main Street, Bennington, VT 05201.

Stanley was one of my first teachers at Bennington College and became a mentor whose intellectual and emotional generosity shifted the course of my life. I've thought of him regularly throughout the years since studying with him and I will always remember him with great love and gratitude.
