I love you Great-Grandma. I hope youre in a better place cooking for other people! You and your food will be missed by me always. I hope some day I'll be as great an impact on my family as you were to ours.

Dear Lisa,
My sorrow is with you, knowing how special your grandmother was to you and that you will no longer enjoy her in this world. But my joy is present, too, knowing that she has now entered into eternity, where there is neither sorrow, nor sighing, nor suffering, but life everlasting. May God be with you and your loved ones during this time.
In Christ,
+Reverend Mother Andrea

I didn't grow up into a traditional family and at the McCabes it was a little taste of normal family life for me. When I think of Ada, I think of things like kindness, gentleness, love and family. But what I really remember was her fried "boneless chicken". My cousins (Lisa & Chis McCabe) will laugh at that, but her chicken was the best thing ever. I think Ada appreciated how much I enjoyed it. I only wished I could have enjoyed it longer and more often!
I will always have fond memories of Ada and her family. Those will be times that are forever imprinted in my childhood. Thanks Louie, Lisa and Chris for sharing her (and her chicken)!

Lisa, Happy birthday. I am very sad to hear of your grandmother's passing. The "Other side" is a joyful, loving place and she is now with your grandfather, so as sad as it is for us to say goodbye, it's a time of joy for them...

Dear Sue, I am so sorry to hear about the death of your mother. She was always such a kind and patient person. Growing up, I remember her always listening to our ideas and plans, never shooting them down, although some of them were pretty crazy! She really lived her faith and I know you will miss her terribly. I'll call next time I'm in Pittsfield. Try to stay strong. With deep sympathy -

MEMORIES OF ENTERING THE McCabe home durning Christmas time. The smells of freshly baked cookies and coffee brewing on a cold winter day in the Berskhires...Laughter of children running down the hall as mom tried to pick up the wrappings of just opened Christmas gifts...Thank you for sharing the love of your beloved mother and father with us...Johnny and I have many happy memories of you all...

Aunt Ada was one of the nicest people I ever met. I cannot think of any higher compliment to give her.

I warmly remember enjoying many Christmas days with my dad at her and Tom's house. "Canadian Sunset" was on the radio at the time.

We never cease to exist - our Spirit energy only transforms. The quiet peaceful love she showed, and gave us all, continues forever.

We Love You so much, Grandma!
You were always the source of strength in the family. Your strength will be ours now.
I will be sure the family stays together because this was always the most important thing to you. We will all try to live our lives the way you wished for us. I will continue to live my life and care for my children in a way to make you proud.
Your love for us was always so strong and beautiful and I will miss it always but we are all so happy for the time we had with you and so grateful to feel all the love you gave us.
We will do our best to celebrate your life instead of mourning your death because that is what you would want for us.
We are all so sad that you are not with us right now, but so happy that you and Grandpa are together again!
We will love and miss you forever...
