Gail Marie Trefethen Juber

1938 - 2024

Gail Marie Trefethen Juber, 85 of Citrus Hills, Florida passed away on October 3, 2024. She was born in Bangor, Maine on December 24, 1938, to the late Eula T. Gebo and Ernest H. Trefethen.

In 1958, she married Antonio DiMaggio and together in Norwich, Connecticut, for the 27 years of their marriage, they raised six children: Beth DiMaggio (Bill Perkins) of Waterford, CT; Christine DiMaggio Singer (Kenneth) of Pittsfield, MA; Ann Marie DiMaggio of Bradenton, FL; Anthony DiMaggio (Pamela) of Sherman, CT; Joseph DiMaggio of Norwich, CT and Robert DiMaggio (Annie de Roque) of Alexandria, VA. Gail leaves behind her husband, Stanley Francis Juber, Jr., whom she married in 1991. They enjoyed 34 years and over 70 cruises together. Eleven grandchildren include Sean McColl (Sarah), Scott McColl (Liang), Brian Harrison, Timothy Harrison (Alexandra), Jessica Luty, Joshua Luty (Yuliya), Antonio DiMaggio (Christine Kazlow) as well as Vincenzo, Joseph, Tia and Nicholas DiMaggio. Great-grandchildren include Natalie Morrow McColl, Nell and Quinn Harrison, Damien Luty and Bryceson, Joshua and Liam DiMaggio. Her sister, Bonnie Kirby (Thomas) survives her; she is predeceased by her sister and brother-in-law Margaret and Frank Dolliver.

Gail graduated from John Bapst High School in Bangor, ME and achieved a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from the University of New Haven. She worked professionally as an accountant at the Backus Hospital and Department of Public Utilities in Norwich, CT, retiring in 1998. Gail and Stan retired to Florida in 2011. In 2022, they moved to Grand Living at Citrus Hills, FL.

A private celebration of her life will take place on October 27, 2024. Her remains are placed at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. She is lovingly missed.
