Kelly Hover Obituary
PITTSFIELD Kelly A. Hover, 54, of East Falmouth, passed unexpectedly at her home on Friday, Aug. 23, 2013.Kelly was born and raised in Pittsfield, the daughter of Joanne (Kelly) Prendergast and the late Leo B. Prendergast. She graduated from Pittsfield High School in 1977 and later from McCann Technical School as a licensed hair dresser. She worked as a waitress in the Falmouth area for many years. Kelly was an excellent cook and loved to entertain. Kelly is survived by her son, Chase Maccini, and his wife, Jacquelyn of Sydney, Australia; daughter, Raechel Hover of Falmouth; brother, Stephen Prendergast and his wife, Carla of Pittsfield; sister, Karen Ebbeling, and her husband, Robert of Hinsdale; nephew ,Stephen Prendergast II of Pittsfield; niece Meaghan Arena of Springfield, and godmother Josephine Kelly of Pittsfield. Kelly was predeceased by her brother, Terrance Prendergast, who passed in 2010. To Kelly's family. I knew Kelly all the way back to PHS, Class of 77 and she was such a wonderful individual that I had the pleasure of knowing. I am so very sorry for your loss as she will be dearly missed.

I was a classmate of Kelley's at PHS. Though I did not know her well, I remember fondly her great smile and her love for everyone and everything. I feel a sadness at her passing. May the Lord bless her and keep her and lift up His divine countenance upon her and bring her peace.

So sorry for your loss. Our thoughts and prayers go out to you all at this very difficult time. Kelly had a smile that could light up a room. I have been friends with you for over 40 years. Best friends with Karen since Allendale. I know you will all get through this. Know that you have close friends and family to lean on. I can just see them now your dad coaching Zippy with hockey and Kelly cooking them all a wonderful meal.
