Donna Jean Pace

Donna Jean Pace, 59, of Big Spring, Texas, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017, after battling a long illness.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017, at the Dora Roberts Community Center in Big Spring from noon until 5 p.m. On this day, we celebrate what would have been her 60th birthday, as well as the lasting impact she's had on each of our lives.
Donna was born to Charles and Aliene Hill Morton in Dumas, Ark. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who always went above and beyond for her family. Donna formerly owned The Soda Shop, a small café in Forsan, Texas; and later worked several years at Bargain Mart Discount Foods.
She is survived by her husband, David Pace of Big Spring; two sons, Anthony Pace and wife Vanessa of Snyder, and Christopher Pace of Big Spring; and one daughter, Angela Lance and husband Blake of Coahoma; grandchildren, Todd Pace of Midland, Danielle Pace and Matthew Pace of Sweetwater, Tyler Anderson, Desirae Pace, and Alexis Pace of Snyder, Danielle Raney, Daniel Raney, and Nicholas Pace of Snyder, and Pace'Lei Lance of Coahoma. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Karen Chance, Judy Reynolds, Larry Morton, Tom Morton, and Rick Morton, all of Arkansas; and numerous nieces and nephews, great-nieces and -nephews, a great-grandchild, and two great-grandchildren on the way.
Donna was preceded in death by her father and mother, Charles and Aliene Morton of Arkansas; twin brother Don Morton of Arkansas (1982); nephew Kenneth Sewell of Arkansas (2010); and grandson Dylan Lance of Big Spring (2015).
