March 16, 1961 - December 10, 2024
Barry took his final bike ride into the Big Sky from his home in Billings MT. He was surrounded by loved ones who saw him off in the early morning hours of December 10th, 2024.
Barry was a loyal friend, a talented artist and metal worker, and genuinely kind! He refused to let his physical disability hold him back from projects or adventures, the word stubborn definitely comes to mind! Barry was born March, 16th 1961 in Crosby, ND, he cherished the time he spent in and around Smokey Butte Township, but loved Montana! He lived in Cut Bank for a few years as a young man, and lived for spring to be able to drive the Going-to-the-Sun Road in Glacier NP.
Barry is survived by his mother JoAnn E. Stevens, brothers Blaine K., John C. and Christopher P. Stevens, and many nieces and nephews who adored him. Barry was preceded in death by his father John H Stevens, sister Brenda A. Lapham, and nephew Weston T. Lapham.
A celebration of Barry's life will be held on May 10th, 2025 at 1 p.m. in his shop at 38 Hickory Dive in Billings, MT. Please RSVP using this link:
