Jimmy Doane Obituary

Jimmy Jay Doane, 57, passed away July 20, 2018 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings. Jimmy was born on June 17, 1961 in Hardin to Joseph and Opal Doane. He had four siblings: Mark, Lyle, Monte and Peggy. Jimmy attended school in Hardin. After high school he worked in the oil field for several years, and then for the rest of his working career he worked as a heavy equipment operator in the construction world. He married Debbie Stevens-Doane in Billings and they were together happily for 19 years.

Dad was known for his hard work and if he wasn't working hard, he was playing even harder. He was a man of many hobbies and interests such as hunting, fishing, BBQ-ing, Billiards, and any chance he could have fun with his family and friends. His greatest joy was his kids, grandkids and his spoiled rotten dogs. He had one of the biggest hearts and gave the best bear hugs. He will be greatly missed by so many.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Opal Doane; brother Lyle Doane; son Cleve Schaak; nephew Luke Doane; and his best friend and brother Mark Doane. He is survived by his wife Debbie Stevens-Doane; his children: Shanea Doane-Decker (Clint), Brandon Doane (Megan), Chris Doane(Jen), Christina Doane, Shannon Fladland (Wes) and also Czar and Big-Nose Kate, his fur-babies. Ten grandchildren: Chance, Bryor, Hayden, Haylee, Roger, Chevy, Lilly, Roman, Jazmyn, and Lillian. Siblings: Monte Doane, Peggy Doane and special sister-in-law Karen Doane. As well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends that were considered his family as well.

Out of respect for our Dad's wishes there will be no public service. There will be a private celebration of life for family and friends and that is to be announced.
