ELGIN -- Services for Audrey E. Kramer, 63, Elgin,
will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran
Church, Elgin, with the Rev. Nancy Jaster
officiating. Burial will be in the church
cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1-7 p.m. MDT today at
Evanson-Jensen Funeral Home, Elgin, and will
continue at the church one hour before services. A
family service will begin at 7 tonight at the
funeral home.
Casketbearers will be John Sieg, Curtis Ulrich,
Clarence Werner, Quentin Pfutzenreuter, Art Rath,
Ralph Meidinger and Randy Fischer.
Audrey Ellen Holle was born April 11, 1934, in New
Salem, to August and Florence (Krause) Holle. She
grew up and attended schools at New Salem, where
she graduated from high school. She moved to
Bismarck and worked for Bell Telephone Co. as an
operator. She married Vernon Ulrich, March 14,
1957. They lived on a farm northeast of Elgin,
where they raised two children, Ronae and Rocky.
Vernon Ulrich died in 1962. Audrey and her
children moved into Elgin and she worked as a
bookkeeper for Farmers Union Oil Co. until January
1997. She married Delmar Kramer, Sept. 5, 1970, at
Elgin. Audrey Ellen Kramer passed from this life,
July 27, 1997, in a Bismarck hospital.
Audrey enjoyed doing her own thing, golfing,
ceramics, painting, quilting, calligraphy and
spending time with friends and family, especially
her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Delmar; one son
and daughter-in-law, Rocky and Robbie, Elgin; one
daughter and son-in-law, Ronae and Walter Rosin,
Douglas, Wyo.; two brothers and sisters-in-law,
Ray and Marion Holle, and Roger and Rosalie Holle,
both of New Salem; five sisters and
brothers-in-law, Lois and Randy Grosz, Elgin,
Carol and Henry Kaelberer, and Shirley and Floyd
Bickel, both of New Salem, Sharon and John
Rafteseth, Elgin, and Faye and Lib Gustin, Hazen;
eight grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews
and other relatives.
Audrey was preceded in death by her father.
