Kenneth F. Landers, 76, Fountain Hills, Ariz., died June 19, 1998.
Mr. Landers was born in Glen Valley, Ind., and was a retired business owner.
He is survived by his wife, Marian, Fountain Hills; and one son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Margo Landers, Bismarck, and grandchildren, Erika and Courtney, also of Bismarck.
Mr. Landers served in the Armed Services and North Dakota National Guard. After 29 years, he retired as a Lieutenant Colonel in the North Dakota National Guard.
He worked at David Chevrolet after leaving the service. He started as a mechanic and worked his way up to sales manager after many years at Davis Chevrolet. He purchased Landers Mobil, he owned and operated the service station, and after 18 years, he retired and moved to Phoenix, Ariz.
A memorial service will be at Messinger Mortuary, Fountain Hills, Ariz., at 5 p.m. Thursday.
The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Mary's High School or the American Cancer Society.
