Larry was born Jan. 7, 1956, in Minot, to Larry and Arline (Rydberg) Peacock. He was raised and educated in Minot, where he attended Minot High School. He felt most fulfilled when he could serve others. Jesus said, "love one another as I loved you" and Larry was a perfect example of this.
He held several jobs including at McDonald's, Burger King, and Northwest Sporting Goods. He loved volunteering and did so with Easter Seals and most recently served at Missouri Slope Nursing Home in Bismarck where he resided. Throughout Larry's life, he was a sports fanatic and enjoyed watching football, basketball and WWE (wrestling). His avid love for sports began with his grandfather taking him to wrestling matches when he was young. He had a love for football and he never missed a Minnesota Vikings game. Besides sports, he loved 60s music, especially Elvis Presley, but his greatest love was for God and his family.
He is survived by his parents; his sisters, Dawn (Lynn) Wunderlich and Melissa (Annie) Peacock; his brothers, Kurt, Randy (Wanda) and Travis (Kim) Peacock; his nieces and nephews, Josh Peacock, Connor, Aubrey, and Broden Wunderlich, Aidan and Teagan Peacock, and Austin and Kyle Newsome; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Larry was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ervin (Margaret) Peacock; his maternal grandparents, Bert (Evelyn) Rydberg; along with several aunts, uncles, and his favorite dog Bear.
