CHRISTOFORO, Albert E. "Schooch" Lifelong resident of Chelsea, February 12, 2016 at age 92. Husband of the late Stella (Faraci) Christoforo. Beloved and devoted father of John Christoforo and his wife Janice of Holbrook, Suzanne Taverna and her husband Anthony of Chelsea, Rosemary Caggiano and her husband Marc of Peabody. Dear brother of John Christoforo and his wife Joan of Everett, and the late Pat, Americo, James and Charles Christoforo, Mary Tassinari, Bianca Puleo, Alexandrina "Sandy" Pignato. Also lovingly survived by 5 grandchildren, Stephanie Siden and her husband Ryan of Marblehead, Anthony Taverna and his partner Gary Mele of FL, John Christoforo and his wife Jana of AZ, Matthew Christoforo and his wife Shana of Dorchester, Tiffany Caggiano and her fiance Nico Gobbi of Peabody, 4 great grandchildren, Sophia and Olivia Siden, Julia and Nicholas Christoforo, numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Grace Church, 59 Nichols St., Chelsea on Friday, Feb. 19 at 10:30 A.M. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours in the Carafa Family Funeral Home, 389 Washington Ave., CHELSEA prior to the Mass from 8:30-10:00 A.M. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Late WWII US Navy Veteran. Late employee of Carmote Paints and the Chelsea Jewish Community Center. Late member of the Chelsea Traffic Commission for 25 years. Lifelong baseball fan and aficionado.
