I was very sorry to hear that Mr. Daly had passed away. I was a student of his 17 years ago and I still remember his class as being a lot of fun.

Mr. Daly was a great guy and he really knew how to interact well with his students. He knew what kids liked and what we would respond to, and he made the day go by quickly because he knew exactly how to keep us interested and entertained. Mr Daly always told the kind of stories that he knew we kids would get a kick out of. Anyone else remember Green Crackers?? ;)

Mr. Daly seemed to have a genuine interest and respect for kids that you don't always see from adults. I know many of his former students who are now in their 20s, and we still have fond memories of Mr. Daly's class.

I worked with Al at the Galvin Middle School. I so admired how smart he was, as well as his way with his students. He was a class act, always dressed to the nines(even on field days). I was so sad that he never got to truly enjoy his retirement years, which he so richly deserved.

We have fond memories of Ab and I (Ann) so enjoyed working with him on the RPA board - he was always fair with the various issues.
