BARBARA R. BUTTERS

BUTTERS, Barbara R. (West) Of Norfolk, formerly of Walpole, passed away on December 28, 2020 at the age of 93. Beloved wife of the late Alfred E. Butters Sr. Devoted mother of Alfred E. Butters Jr. and his wife Barbara of Norfolk, James M. Butters and his wife Maria of Walpole, Barbara A. Slade and her husband Richard of Attleboro, Rosemarie Cook and her husband Jon of N. Attleboro, Mary E. Holmes and her husband John of Norwood, Maureen E. Lennon and her husband Tom of Franklin and Harry F. Butters and his wife Deborah of Walpole. Sister of the late Elene, Milton, Paul and Fred. Daughter of the late Fred B. and Irene B. (Connolly) West. Cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Barbara was a member of the Vanderbilt Club in Norwood where she enjoyed water aerobics with her friends "The Water Babies." She also enjoyed painting and has several of her "works" hanging in her Norfolk home. She was a devote Catholic and longtime member of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Walpole. All services will be private, with a Celebration of her Life to be held at a later date t/b/d. Arrangements by the Kraw-Kornack Funeral Home, NORWOOD, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959.
