Dear Phil, Hedy, Carolyn, Son-in-Law, and Grandchildren,

We are sadden to hear about Barbara and wish there was some way of easing your heavy hearts at this time.
Even tho it has been many years that we lived nearby we carpooled for Hebrew school, parties and sleepovers. Barbara was always fun to be with and there was never a dull moment with her. She was one- of-a-kind! I can still remember dancing up onto the stage at Hedy's Bat Mitzvah.

May you find comfort in treasured memories.

Dear Phil, Hedy, Carolyn, and Andrea,
I am so very sad to hear about Barbara's passing. Even though it was many years ago, I have so many happy memories of her...from when she would take us to Duck Soup after Hebrew School for Swedish Fish to all of the nights spent at sleep overs at your home...I will never forget her. You are all in my thoughts.
Love,
Jennifer (Winston) Cohen

Dear Phil, Hedy, Carolyn, Andrea, sons-in-law and grandchildren,
It's with a heavy heart that I convey my very deepest condolences to all of you, along with the rest of the family. I wish that I were near enough to have attended her send-off to a better place and to sit shiva with you now. I will only think of her as the blithe spirit she was, with that matchless wit and that wonderful gift to make all of us laugh until we cried and our tummies ached. She was a real mensch--a bright and smart Jewish woman to look up to--who left us way too young. Although I am so sad, I feel lucky to have known Barbara when I lived in the 'hood. She'll forever be in my heart and my memories.
With deep love and sadness,
gail

A light went out in the world today. I will miss everything about Barbara, but especially how she made me laugh. Campus won't be the same without her.

A piece of her will always be in my heart.
