Chun Hwa Rathman

RATHMAN, Chun Hwa (Lee) 60, of Ashland, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 21, 2009, at Emerson Hospital, Concord. She was the wife of Dennis D. Rathman for the past 19 years. Born, raised and educated in Pusan, South Korea, the daughter of the late Bong June and Ok (Baek) Lee, she moved to the United States in 1970 and received her U.S. citizenship shortly thereafter. She had been a resident of Ashland for over 20 years. Chun was a microelectronics assembler/wire bonder for Lockheed Martin in the missile and fire control division since 2001, and previously worked for both Raytheon in Northborough and Quincy, and Lasertron in Bedford. She enjoyed cooking, the ocean, and spending time with her family, and took a tremendous amount of pride in her work. She attended Grace Chapel in Lexington. In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons, Tommy L. Harden Jr. of Billerica and Sean A. Harden of Marlborough; a sister, Bumicha Oh of Mesa, Ariz.; a cousin, Kwang Nam Yi of California; five granddaughters; and two brothers-in-law, Terry L. Rathman of Gastonia, N.C. and David A. Rathman of Blandon, PA. Calling hours will be held Tuesday, May 26, from 6 to 9 p.m., in the Fitzgerald & Collins Funeral Home (www.collinsfuneral.com), 378 Lincoln St., MARLBOROUGH.
