I've been busy in recent weeks but I went by the store tonight, and I was shocked to see the sign on the door. Now I see why. I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Claudio. My sincere condolences to his wife and family.
Although I didn't know Claudio, having only seen him once (in the store) I absolutely loved Geoclassics; I have spent so many happy hours browsing in there, and I bought many stunning items of jewellery that give me a lot of pleasure. I've never known such a great shop. I will treasure my special collection always, and my memories of the store. I will miss it greatly. Linda A., your UK customer.

So sorry to hear of Claudio's passing. I worked for Claudio and Lorrie at the Faneuil Hall store in the early nineties. One of many fond memories: On Cinco de Mayo, after closing the shop for the night, Claudio took a bunch of us downstairs to Zuma, a Mexican restaurant where we spent a couple hours hanging out and enjoying lively conversation, nachos and margaritas. When it was time for him to leave, he suggested we stay and order whatever we wanted and that it was his treat! Claudio was an interesting and unique soul who made a positive impact on many, many people...
My sincere condolences to Lorrie and Claudio's family.

So sad to hear of Claudio's passing. We were colleagues many years ago at Bentley. He was just such a good and interesting person. Smart, kind intense, funny. He was really one of a kind. I know he touched the lives of so many people. It's a great loss. My deep condolences to Lorrie and all of Claudio's family.

Danny, I am so sorry to learn of Claudios passing. I will always remember Claudio as kind energetic person who was willing to help everyone. It seems like only yesterday we were all together in the Economics Department at Northeastern.

I met Claudio in 1984 through my wife Pouran. Claudio and I enjoyed many long evenings discussing variety of topics from City politics to world affairs, Academics, Technology and everything in between. He was bright, charming, compassionate, insightful and above all a very empathetic human being. His love for his cats was so viral to the extent that I too fell him love with one of his cats, Frisky. I will always remember him calling me Farhood and I got a kick out of it every time. Claudio was authentic and one of a kind and will be sorely missed.
Rest in Peace, my friend.

My condolences to the family. I just wanted the family to know what a great teacher he was. I met Claudio when he taught part-time while working on his PhD at Northeastern. I was one of his students even though actually a year older than him. The fact that I remembered him after over 44 years speaks volumes about the impact he had on me. He was by far one of the best instructors I had throughout my collegiate years. He will be truly missed.

So sad to hear about Claudio's passing. I knew him when he taught at Bentley. His students loved him. He was a warm and kind man, with a zest for life that I admired. He was smart, charismatic, funny and passionate. His smile was infectious. I shared many a happy time with Claudio and his colleagues in the Economics department - Dale, Don, Greg and Andy.

I remember when I first met Claudio.I was in High School and met my Aunt Lorrie's new boyfriend. He made me feel very comfortable talking to him,at the time we were talking about his blue chevelle and how it needed new springs.Even though we just met he made me feel like my opinion was important.Back then our family used to get together every holiday and I would look foward to seeing everyone.Sadly times change .I miss those days as much as I will miss Claudio.Rest in Peace

A special man, a dear friend to my husband Charlie Harrington. Claudio you always made others feel special, you always engaged my children in discussions and fed their curiosity about rocks, fossils, and Boston. You gave us many great memories that we shall cherish always. May you catch up with Charlie and Ron.
We will say a pray for you and keep Lorrie in our prayers also....The Harrington Family (Regina, Chaz, Kaitlin, Sean, Tara, and baby Meghan)
