DANIEL JOSEPH AUGUST

AUGUST, Daniel Joseph Age 74, of Saugus, formerly of Cambridge, passed away on October 25th at the VA Hospital in Bedford. Danny was born on August 12, 1947 in Cambridge and went on to serve his country proudly in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, from 1968-1969. Danny was the Sales Manager for Coca-Cola of New England for over 20 years. Danny had a wonderful sense of humor, the gift of gab and was adored by everyone that knew him and will be truly missed. Danny was husband to the late Cheryl (Hennessey) August and is survived by his 2 daughters, Tracy Hudson of Medford and Melissa Armstrong and her husband Robert of Methuen. Grandfather of Lauren Hudson, Kasey, Matthew and Emma Armstrong. He is also survived by his sisters, Arlene August of Hull and Karen and Billy Trainor of Cambridge. Danny was the loving companion of Donna (Nelson) Cotter of Saugus for over 34 years. He also leaves his extended family, Steven and Andrea Cotter of Danvers and 2 grandchildren, Alexander and Zachary Cotter. Relatives and friends are invited to attend an hour of Visitation in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., SAUGUS on Saturday, 10:30-11:30 am, followed by a Service in the Funeral Home at 11:30 am. A celebration of Danny's life will follow at K Pub, 22 Lincoln Ave., Saugus.
