DANIEL DUFFY Obituary

DUFFY, Daniel F. A lifelong resident of Brookline, passed away peacefully, on June 26, 2025. Beloved son of the late Patrick E. and Bridget (McLaughlin) Duffy. Dear brother of the late Edward G., Joseph P., James T. and Gerald P. Duffy. Loving uncle of James Duffy of Waltham, Joanne Duffy of South Boston, Brian Duffy of Dorchester, Paul Duffy and his wife, Jennifer, of Dorchester, Durelle Ramussen of FL, and the late Joseph and Peter Duffy. Also survived by several grandnieces and nephews. Visiting Hours will be in the Bell-O'Dea Funeral Home, 376 Washington St., BROOKLINE, on Monday, July 7, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm, and again on Tuesday morning, from 9:45 to 10:45 am, before leaving in procession to St. Mary of the Assumption Church, for a Mass of Christian Burial, at 11:00. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Danny may be made to St. Mary's Building Fund, 5 Linden Pl., Brookline, MA 02445. Danny served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he was a member of the Stephen F. Rutledge Post # 864 V.F.W. and retired from the Brookline Water Dept.
