DRISCOLL, David J. David passed away peacefully, with his beloved wife of 25 years, Irene, by his side, after a long and courageous battle with lung disease, on November 27, 2024. He was 82. David's unbelievable sense of humor and magnetic personality made him the life of the party and the center of attention wherever he went. His passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his legacy of joy and generosity will live on. Loving husband of Irene (Biddy Curley) Driscoll of Weymouth. Father of Patrick Candeliere and his wife, Vicky of Weymouth. Papa Dave to Enzo and Anya Candeliere. Survived by his siblings, Betty Peters of FL and James Driscoll and his wife, Kathy of Hanover. Also survived by his sister-in-law, Dorothy Driscoll. Predeceased by his siblings, Patricia, Fred and George. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the Visiting Hours on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 4-8 PM, in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, SOUTH WEYMOUTH, at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM, on Friday, December 6, 2024, prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth, at 10:30 AM. Cremation will follow.
