DAVID MARSHALL Obituary

MARSHALL, David W. Of Peabody, formerly of North Reading and Reading, August 2, 2021, age 82, after a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Bette C. Marshall. Loving father of David S. Marshall and his wife Melinda, James C. Marshall and Laura (Marshall) Beaulieu and her husband Timothy; 8 treasured grandchildren and brother of the late Marjorie Marshall. Funeral Service at the Union Congregational Church, Haverhill St., North Reading on Tuesday, August 17 at 11:00 AM. Visitation on Monday, August 16, from 4 to 7 PM at Croswell Funeral Home, 19 Bow St., NORTH READING. Burial in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Peabody. Memorial donations may be made in his memory to the Alzheimer's Association. Retired Plastics Engineer. He received several patents for specialty materials and he worked on the heat shield for the Apollo Mission. Former employee of AVCO, Key Polymer, Kennecott Copper and Textron. I am honored to be Dave's son-in-law. He was one of the best and brightest our country has to offer. I will be sure to use Dave as a shinning example for my children and take good care of his daughter. We'll miss him, but his legacy will live on.
