Doreen M. Of Melrose, formerly of Stoneham, Feb. 11. Loving mother of Daniel J. O'Regan of NY, NY, Santino Luigi Barrasso, Angelina Maria Barrasso and Cassandra Maria Barrasso, all of Revere. Beloved daughter of Dorothea (Rourke) O'Regan of Stoneham and the late James O'Regan. Sister of the late James Shaun O'Regan. Devoted grandmother of Luigi Michael. Also survived by one niece and several great nieces and nephews and aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral from the McDonald-Finnegan Funeral Home, 322 Main St., STONEHAM, Saturday, Feb. 21 at 9am followed by a funeral mass in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St., Stoneham at 10:00. I am so sorry to hear of this loss. I was Doreens best friend as a teen and young adult. We lived a few doors apart on Spring Lane, Stoneham Mass. I loved helping with her son Danny. The love she had for him when she was just a kid herself was beautiful...... I am sorry we lost touch and have just heard of this loss now. She was an amazing light and i will always be grateful for her friendship and her tutoring in math; she was brilliant!
