DOROTHY ANDREWS Obituary

ANDREWS, Dorothy "Dottie" (Doyle) Passed away peacefully on October 30, 2015 with her beloved husband, Allen, by her side. Dottie was born March 14, 1928 to Margaret and Michael Doyle. She lived most of her life in Watertown, MA which is where she met Allen, the love of her life and husband of 67 years, raised their four children and fulfilled her passion for teaching during a 20 year tenure at the Phillips' and Lowell Elementary Schools. Summers were spent surrounded by family in Northwood, NH and retirement was spent with friends and family in Bradenton and Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. Dottie had a zest for life which she chronicled in a journal she kept daily for over 80 years. Dottie will be dearly missed by her loving husband, Allen, their son Ralph and his wife Denise, son Dana and his partner, Ann, daughter Judy King and her husband Joe, and daughter, Patti McAlarney and her husband, Kevin, and by her nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and her brother, Michael "Tommy" Doyle. Dottie was predeceased by her sister, Theresa "Mickey" Doyle Emberly. At Dottie's request there will be no services until her life may be celebrated along with Allen's. To Mr. Andrews and Family; So sorry to see the passing of your wife and mother. I have many fond memories of all of you especially Mrs. Andrew's chocolate chip cookies She was always so nice to share them with the neighborhood kids. I also remember how she used to let me wheel Judy and Patty up and down the sidewalk. She was such a lovely women and I always loved her house and the way it was decorated. I am back in the neighborhood living in my family home and many a time I walk by your old house and think of all of you. I do have to mention how much we all loved riding in the back of the "Super".

Sincerely, Stephanie (Guzzi) LeForce
