Dad, 3 years ago you left me, seems like 30 years not 3 since I last heard you laugh. Thinking of you today and missing you. Your little ladies grow older and wiser every year. They talk often about you and what you are doing up in heaven on a daily basis. My faith in you watching over us has never been stronger. Thank you for Boston!! I KNOW you made that happen for me. I miss your wisdom and advice, even the things I didn't like to hear. I miss your pie face and your giggle. I miss your head peeking into my bedroom. I miss visiting you and making you tea. I miss everything there is to miss!!!! I hope we make you proud. Thinking of you always, each and every day you are never far. XOXO Heather (YOUR first little bird)

Dad - Can you believe Jordan graduated Kindergarten this weekend! How proud are we?! I know you were there in some way with your pie face watching her up at the alter performing with her classmates. She sang 'Grand Old Flag', a song in French and for her solo she danced like a frog. I can't believe your little bird is growing up so fast.
She won a gold medal in her skating competition and asked if we could visit your special place (your stone) so we could give it to you. The last time we were there she hugged your stone.
When Sarah and Jordan are on the swings in the backyard they scream HI PAPA and wonder if they can reach you by swinging higher and higher. They know you are watching.
We looked at baby pictures of them over the weekend and they were so happy to see the photos with you holding them.
Ms Molly continues to be a skinny imp much like yourself (the skinny part anyway) and I can only believe you somehow kissed that child and made your mark the day she arrived because I often look in her eyes and see you. Jesse is rolling over now - thank you for watching over her those 9 months, she is such a blessing and the most delightful little baby.
By now you would have bit your tongue right off at the sight of them all. To quote you - clear the tracks, the talty girls are coming.
We miss you so very much and on my long ride home from work I am thinking of you always! XO - Heather

Dad - Its been 2 years and I still find it hard to believe you are not here, that I won't see you when I pull in the drive of your house. When someone walks through your front door I still expect to hear your keys jingle as you would place them on your cabinet.
In May 2007 we welcomed Ms Molly into the world and she looks a lot like you. How you would have enjoyed her - she is so fresh and loves to wiggle/dance! And of course Jordan and Sarah continue to grow. You would most certainly be amused with Sarah and what a jokester/story teller she is. She is my clone. Jordan is so smart - how you would have enjoyed seeing her in her uniform on her first day of Catholic school. And how you would have bragged about her skating, she is getting fast. The 25th of February 2009 Ms. Jesse arrived in the wee hours of the morning. I can only assume you would be beside yourself, both proud and worried regarding your 4 granddaughters. Jesse is a true gift and I am so blessed to have her and my other little ladies. Jordan and Sarah remember you well, I know you were worried about that. Fear not, just today Jordan handed me a quarter and said, 'its from your father'. I asked how and she said, 'he dropped it from heaven'. She put it in Jesse's bank.
And so time goes on yet I miss you every day. May I see you in my dreams tonight.

To the family of Mr.Eddie Barletta,
I'll always remember him as a fine and wonderful person that he was. He always had such a wonderful sense of humor and I'll always remember joking with the sales representatives at Liberty Mutual. I first met him at the office down on Berkeley St in the Personal Sales Department. He was always a pleasure to work with. I'll miss him.

What can you say about Eddie, nothing but the fact that he always made you laugh. I remember all the summers at Beaver Lake with Eddie. Every weekend started out with Saturday mornings Eddie walking down the hill with his chair and he would put it in the water and plop himself in it with his hat on for the day. When our family would get up (The Curley gang) there Eddie would be in his chair in the water. He would start the day off by instigating who would push who in the water first. After we would all get wet we would be running around Eddie in the water and it didn't bother him at all, he would just sit there and relax. He would get out of the chair to play Volleyball and Badmitten with us, and when he felt like being an adult he would play Horseshoes with my father and uncles. When the day came to an end Eddie would pick up his chair and head up the hill for a good night rest only to do it all again on Sunday. Eddie brought a lot of laughs to us all up in Derry and he will be missed a great deal. He was always a "Kid at Heart." Thank you for the memories Eddie. Rest in Peace.

Eddie Barletta was the best.
Once you met him, your life (and your family's) was touched forever. He was smart, kind, funny, generous, always positive, very brave, with a deep love of his family and friends and a role model for all of us. I have known Eddie for 30+ years and it has been a privilege.
God Bless and God Speed, Eddie.
Love always, Nancy

A light is from our household gone
A voice we loved is stilled, A place is vacant in our home
Which never can be filled.
May the Choirs of the Angels receive you and may you have rest and peace everlasting.
